Once a determination is made the position is responsible for all to correspondences with the applicant either verbally or in writing to inform the applicant of their status. This position reviews criminal record documents, official records and applications to determine eligibility of employment with a child care facility in accordance with O.C.G.A. It administers the nationally recognized Georgia's Pre-K Program, licenses child care centers and home-based child care, administers Georgia Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program, federal nutrition programs, and manages Quality Rated, Georgia's community powered child care rating system.
